This is a KILLER Beautifully colored Missouri Mehlville Point. It measures 3-1/8 inches in length and 1-3/4 inches wide. Awesome light yellowish chert with heavy patina. Killer needle tip!, great edges!! This is a fine artifact! I beleive the photo does not do this one justice and I quite frankly don t know why someone hasn t snagged it yet, it is fine!! Mehlville Points are from the Late Archaic Period 4000-3000 before present. Found in Morgan County, Missouri by Bill Van pool.
