This is a killer Missouri Dalton Drill. It measures 2-7/16 inches in length. Beautiful 2 tone marbled Yellowish and beige chert. This beauty is very well made, but it does have an impact fracture near the tip on one edge. It is ancient damage, probably caused during use, afterall this is a drill! It has a fantastic base and right handed beveling on both edges. Terrific piece! Found in St Chalres County by Joe George. Dalton points are from the Early Archaic Period 10000- 9200 before present.
