This is an awesome Missouri Celt (Ungrooved Axe). Heavily polished bit with great mineralization and patina. Some damage on the back side, but great bit polish!! Beautiful dark gray hard stone. It is 5-1/4 inches in length, 2-1/2 at the widest near the bit, and 1-3/8 inches thick. This is a super artifact. Found in Missouri.
