This is a fine Missouri Matanzas Point.  It is approximately 2-5/16" inches in length.  Beautiful Reddish Brown Chert. Super well made piece! fine form and symmetry!  Nice base and tip! Found in St Charles County, Missouri.  Matanzas Points are from the Mid Archaic to Woodland Period, 4500-2500 before present.
