This is a Killer Missouri Thebes Point.  It measures 2-1/2 " inches in length and 1-7/8 inches across.  Really nice white chert.  Super form and symmetry.  It has left handed beveling on both sides.  Thebes Points are from the Early Archaic Period 10,000 to 8000 before present.  Found by John Nichols aorund 1983 On the bluffs of the Mississippi River Bottoms north of Hannibal, in Marion County, Missouri.  EX) Charles Ham Collection.  PICTURED ON PAGE 88 OF LAR HOTHEM'S BOOK "INDIAN ARTIFACTS OF THE MIDWEST BOOK 3"
