This is a Cobbs blade. It measures 3-3/4" inches in length. Beautiful beige and tan Burlington Chert and is slightly translucent. This piece is less than 1/4 inch thick, it is masterfully flaked. Beautiful color, well made this is a fine artifact!! Cobbs blades are from the Early Archaic Period 8000-5000 before present. Found in Missouri.
